That’s right… The difference between the old, lost towns of the east, and the old towns that are located in our western states is this, the lost settlements of the east are no longer visible. They only exist as “cellar holes.”  My fiancee’ has had this hobby for more than 20 years and has located and and detected around hundreds of these old towns in the east. There’s no telling what kind of treasure you will find, nor can I promise you that you will make a great discovery. However, even if you don’t find a buried cache or lost relics from years gone by, you will realize that the treasure can be the search itself.
